Hy-Vee Expands Online Delivery with Shipt and Instacart

Hy-Vee partners with Shipt and Instacart to expand its online grocery delivery footprint and provide new and convenient shopping options to customers in more than two dozen markets.

The West Des Moines, Iowa based supermarket will continue to offer its online shopping experience and wide range of products through its Hy-Vee Aisles Online service, with Instacart and Shipt offering expanded delivery areas and same-day delivery.

“Hy-Vee is excited to provide customers even more same-day delivery options by partnering with these national services,” Matt Ludwig, chief information officer and executive vice president of e-commerce at Hy-Vee, said in a statement. “As online grocery marketplaces experience rapid growth, Hy-Vee is matching pace to provide our customers a variety of personalized grocery delivery options.”

Similar to how it’s online service works, customers who use the delivery services can add their grocery preferences, choose a delivery window and pay for their orders all on the Shipt or Instacart mobile apps or websites.
