The SuperValu Unified Expo 2017 was successfully held at the Long Beach Convention Center in California, where 1,000 exhibitors offered products and services from the food industry to retailers of all sizes, both large and small, including Hispanic stores.
This year the Unified Expo show celebrated their 40-year anniversary under a new administration and with a new name, at a time of significant changes after the merging of Unified Grocers with SuperValu last June.
This Expo is considered the main event for sales in the West Coast, where retailers can view products and negotiate agreements that would otherwise not be available to them.
Educational workshops were available at the Unified Expo
The show emphasized the wide range of products and services of SuperValu, including the new private labels that they offer.
There were also different educational sessions like the workshops, “Retailer Edge Express,” “Lunch and Learn about experts of the industry” and “The Science of purchases.”
