Surprising Resignation of US Foods Chief Supply Chain Officer

US Foods Holding Corp., announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer Tim Connolly has resigned, effective immediately.

The company said it will be conducting a search for Connolly’s successor, and there is no explanation for his sudden departure.

Connolly was appointed to his new role at US Foods in May 2019 and he was in charge of the US Foods supply chain organization, including safety, warehousing, transportation, supply chain strategy, operations, continuous improvement, and labor relations.

Most recently, Connolly served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Uline and, prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Essendant where he oversaw a network of more than 70 distribution centers.

He also spent 10 years managing supply chain operations at Cardinal Health, was an operations manager for Beloit Beverage Co., and also served as a warehouse supervisor for McKesson.

“Tim’s commitment to supply chain excellence and passion for his work have left a positive mark on our organization,” said Chairman and CEO Pietro Satriano. “His leadership will be missed. I am grateful for his service and we wish him the very best.”
