Southeastern Grocers, parent company and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket, and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, announced that registration is now open to participate in the virtual Local and Diverse Supplier Connect event.
Furthermore, the Jacksonville, Florida-based supermarket chain seeks to collaborate with underrepresented suppliers and, in turn, provide stores with an expanded variety of locally relevant and diverse products.
The Local and Diverse Supplier Connect event will focus on sourcing products across grocery, household, fresh, frozen, personal care, pet, and baby merchandise, among other categories, said the grocer in a press release.
For that reason, SEG is partnering with ECRM and RangeMe to source, qualify, and connect diverse suppliers with the appropriate buyers.
During the upcoming Local and Diverse Supplier Connect event, planned for November 1st, participants can engage with SEG buyers and category managers to share their company background, product information, and marketing plans.
