Jenn Carson is the Marketing Director of Alpha 1 Marketing, the merchandising and marketing subsidiary of Krasdale Foods.
New York-based Krasdale Foods has announced they are promoting from within, naming Jenn Carson, the company’s former social media & and digital content manager.
Krasdale Foods is a 115-year-old family-owned business that provides grocery distribution, merchandising, and marketing services to independent grocery store owners. It has helped build and sustain multiple generations of successful enterprises.
Krasdale has grown throughout the Northeast and Florida with supermarket and grocery store banners. They include CTown, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart.
“With my Puerto Rican background, there’s an authentic connection in our marketing, which extends to our influencer partners we’ve worked with over the past two years. They amplify Latino and multicultural voices in a genuine way because social media allows a very personal interaction between our audience, our influencer partners, and our CTown and Bravo brands,” said Carson in an interview with Abasto.
Krasdale has been in business for 115 years by forging key relationships and transparent business tactics.
“Much of that success has been in support of Hispanic products by partnering with Hispanic food brands, with recent examples, such as Badia and Nestle’s Hispanic product division. We onboarded many Badia items to our Bronx distribution center, with a successful rollout to CTown and Bravo stores as well as other store locations we supply.
“Additionally, we’ve added several Nestle Hispanic products to our distribution catalog,” Carson said.
Alpha 1 Marketing
Carson joined Alpha 1 Marketing two years ago, bringing with her a decade of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, social media, and influencer marketing.
“Since joining, Jenn has proven to be adaptable, dependable and is always anxious to enthusiastically take on projects and new responsibilities”, said chief merchandising officer Dennis Hickey, who Carson reports to directly.
Alpha1’s marketing programs aim to increase brand image and market penetration and support store owners. They achieve this by providing them with tools for success in all areas of store operations and customer engagement.
“We will continue to innovate, to learn, and offer the best-in-class marketing services to support the CTown and Bravo banners as well as our vendor partners’ marketing initiatives,” said Carson.
