The launch of Cub grocery delivery on Amazon expands grocery choices for shoppers throughout the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro area.
Customers can order thousands of products, including fresh produce, quality meats, pantry staples, and prepared foods. The assortment also includes Cub’s popular private-label brands and a variety of specialty items favored by local consumers.
In addition, the service allows customers to schedule deliveries directly to their homes. The rollout currently covers communities across the Twin Cities, including Maplewood West, Edina, Crysta,l and Oakdale.
According to Amazon executives, the partnership supports the company’s broader strategy to increase grocery selection while maintaining the convenience customers expect from its platform.
“We’re focused on meeting shoppers where they are and giving them the grocery options they want,” said Sophie Turrell, director of North America grocery partnerships at Amazon.
Turrell added that the collaboration brings trusted local brands to the Amazon marketplace while maintaining the speed and ease of online ordering.
Cub Expands its Digital Reach Through Amazon
For Cub Foods, the partnership represents a major step toward reaching more shoppers through digital grocery services.
Founded in 1968, Cub has long served Minnesota communities with neighborhood supermarkets that emphasize fresh foods, value pricing, and regional products. However, online grocery demand has grown sharply in recent years, pushing retailers to expand delivery options.
Jamie Sjoquist, Cub’s vice president of marketing, said the partnership allows the grocer to bring its store assortment to more households across the region.
“For more than 50 years, Cub has been Minnesota’s hometown supermarket, serving our communities with quality products, fresh foods, and local favorites,” Sjoquist said.
He added that the collaboration makes it easier for families to access groceries through same-day delivery while still purchasing the brands they already trust.
The service also features Cub’s private-label products, including the organic Wild Harvest line and the value-focused Essential Everyday brand.
Together, these items represent a significant portion of Cub’s grocery assortment and remain popular with local shoppers.

Customers can access Cub grocery delivery on Amazon by visiting the Cub storefront on Amazon.com or by using the Amazon mobile shopping app.
The platform allows shoppers to browse thousands of grocery items, add them to their cart, and choose a convenient delivery window.
For a limited time, both Prime members and non-Prime customers can receive free delivery on Cub orders above $25.
Delivery windows can be as short as two hours. Additionally, shoppers can schedule orders for same-day delivery or choose future delivery times that fit their schedules.
Beyond delivery, Amazon plans to offer grocery pickup at participating Cub locations, giving customers another option for completing their orders.
Amazon Strengthens its Grocery Ecosystem
The launch of Cub grocery delivery on Amazon also highlights Amazon’s growing strategy to build a comprehensive grocery ecosystem.
Over the past several years, the company has combined its digital marketplace with a mix of owned grocery banners and third-party retailers.
That ecosystem already includes Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market, along with regional supermarket partners.
