Celebrating International Women’s Day, Northgate Gonzalez Market Honors 42 Associates

Northgate Gonzalez Market celebrates International Women’s Day 2021 by recognizing 42 extraordinary women associates with the Doña Teresa Reynoso de Gonzalez Award and acknowledges the value that women bring to the company.

The Doña Teresa Reynoso de Gonzalez Award originated in 2020. The award is named after the founder’s wife, Doña Teresa. It shines a spotlight on women working at the company’s grocery stores and corporate office, who embody and exemplify Doña Teresa’s values of unity, honesty, and leadership, stated Norgate González Market.

“We are blessed to have these remarkable women working for our company,” said Miguel González, co-president of Northgate González Market. “My mother Doña Teresa was a major catalyst and influencer to our business success. She was known as the CEO, chief emotional officer of the family and business, placing hard work, family, and faith at the forefront of everything we do. It’s a mantra that continues to drive our company today.”
