Love’s Plans Major Expansion with 70 New or Updated Locations in 2025

Oklahoma City-based Love’s Travel Stops plans to expand its nationwide presence by 2025, combining renovation and construction of 70 locations.

The service station chain aims to solidify its position as the premier one-stop shop for travelers through strategic construction, remodeling, and enhanced services.

Strategic Growth and Remodel Initiative

According to a press release, the company plans to build 20 new service stations and remodel 50 existing locations as part of its Strategic Remodel Initiative (SRI), launched in 2022. This initiative ensures that Love’s locations remain modern and customer-friendly.

A key highlight of 2025 is the remodeling of the turnpike location in Love’s Stroud, Oklahoma, which was part of a network acquired in 2023.

By 2035, more than half of Love’s 655 locations will be newly constructed or remodeled, reflecting the company’s long-term vision for growth.

Culinary Innovation and Enhanced Food Offerings

Love’s is expanding its food and drink options through its Fresh Kitchen program, which a new Culinary Innovation Center in Oklahoma City supports. This facility, led by Greg Ekman, will develop fresh offerings such as tacos, salads, sandwiches, and snack trays.

In addition to Fresh Kitchen items, Love’s will introduce branded products, including fresh juices, candy, and flavored popcorn.

To improve efficiency, Love’s quick-service restaurants utilize technology to monitor performance in real-time. According to the company, this has already reduced food delivery times by an average of 14 seconds, ensuring faster customer service.
