Krasdale Foods’ Leadership Growth Advances with New Director

Krasdale Foods’ leadership expansion moved forward as the company named Liz Peralta-Foxwell director of sales for the independent channel. She steps into the role with years of experience across independent retail, fintech, and community entrepreneurship.

Peralta-Foxwell will oversee the field sales team and report to Cynthia Ramos, chief sales and customer officer. Ramos said the addition adds a strategic thinker who understands how independent grocers operate in competitive markets.

“Liz brings a combination of strategic insight and deep community connection,” Ramos said. “Her experience and values align with our mission, and I’m confident she’ll make an immediate impact.”

Her background includes executive positions at Dappersmith Consulting and Feed Forward US. In both roles, she managed national B2B sales operations, built multimillion-dollar pipelines, and led go-to-market strategies designed to increase market reach.

Krasdale Foods Leadership Gains Community-Focused Perspective

Before moving into consulting, Peralta-Foxwell served as executive director of the National Supermarket Association. She guided public affairs and technology modernization for more than 400 supermarkets, helping owners adopt SNAP and EBT systems and integrate delivery platforms. She also advanced partnerships with bodegas and community groups that support neighborhood businesses.

Her connection to the bodega sector runs deep. Family members operated small stores for decades, giving her first-hand experience with their challenges and opportunities. Store owners familiar with her work endorsed her appointment, reinforcing her credibility within the Krasdale network.

“This is a full-circle moment for me,” Peralta-Foxwell said. She noted that the fundamentals she learned as a child in her family’s stores continue to guide her work today. “Krasdale has always been more than a leading wholesaler; it has been part of my family’s story and a steady force in my community.”

Alignment with Companywide Growth Priorities

Peralta-Foxwell will collaborate with the director of sales for the program channel as the department continues to evolve under the leadership of President and COO Gus Lebiak. The appointment supports Krasdale Foods’ leadership expansion across both sales divisions as the company deepens its support for independent operators.

The 117-year-old, family-owned distributor serves more than 3,500 customers across eight states. The company operates from its White Plains headquarters, its Hunts Point distribution center in the Bronx, and a satellite office in Miami. Its portfolio includes more than 14,000 SKUs across core grocery categories.

Krasdale supports independent supermarkets such as CTown, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart, offering distribution, merchandising, and marketing services designed to strengthen multigenerational businesses.

Peralta-Foxwell’s arrival marks another step in the Krasdale Foods leadership expansion, reinforcing the company’s commitment to independent retailers that anchor communities throughout the region.
