2024 NGA Show Expects New Record Attendance

The National Grocers Association expects to have a new attendance record at the NGA Show 2024, to be held March 10-12 at the Caesars Forum Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The 2024 NGA Show is the largest annual gathering of independent retailers, wholesalers, industry executives, food/CPG manufacturers, and service providers from all over the United States. Attendee registration for the three-day show is available at https://www.xpressreg.net/register/NGAS0324/landing.asp?sc=abasto

The National Grocers Association and Clarion Events are producing this 42nd edition of the annual trade show and conference.

“We are looking forward to continuing the momentum of our 2023 event, which experienced the largest attendance numbers since 2017,” said Greg Ferrara, NGA president and CEO. “We’re excited to build on this success as our industry comes together to learn, network, and explore new products and services.”

The show’s speaker lineup will include experts, analysts, and observers from grocery retailing, wholesaling, distribution, manufacturing, brand development, technology, and finance.

“This will be the best NGA Show experience our audience will have to date,” said Desiree Hanson, chief commercial officer at Clarion Events. “We are super excited about our one-of-a-kind keynote speaker, enriched content, and enhancements made throughout the show for an elevated look and feel. The NGA Show continues to be the place to grow and celebrate the grocery industry.”

The NGA announced this year’s celebrity keynote speaker is chef Carla Hall.

After appearances on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and “Top Chef: All-Stars,” Hall spent seven years co-hosting ABC’s Emmy-winning lifestyle series “The Chew.” She is currently featured on Food Network shows such as “Thanksgiving, Holiday and Halloween Baking Championships” and “Worst Cooks in America.” Her most recent cookbook, “Carla Hall’s Soul Food: Everyday and Celebration,” published in 2018, landed on annual “Best Cookbook” lists nationwide and was nominated for an NAACP Image Award.

“We are thrilled to have Carla Hall, a dynamic entrepreneur, chef and female leader, as the 2024 NGA Show keynote speaker,” said Ferrara. “Carla’s tremendous positive energy, love of food and experiences pushing outside of her comfort zone to tackle her fears will resonate with NGA Show attendees and be the perfect kickoff to another successful grocery industry gathering.”

The show will feature more than 40 sessions and workshops designed to keep independent operators updated on the latest trends and best practices in the food retail industry and equip them with strategies to increase profits and drive the bottom line.

The show’s exhibition hall will include more than 300 exhibits representing diverse product categories to keep grocers updated on innovations, solutions, and new products to drive customer satisfaction.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for one-on-one meetings and networking. One is The VIP Experience, a customized meeting experience that allows supplier companies to connect with hand-selected grocery store owners and decision-makers.

The VIP Experience format is designed to accelerate sales through face-to-face meetings in the most efficient, cost-effective way, at your booth or in one of the VIP lounges.

Additionally, The NGA Show is once again co-located with the Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA) Rally, as well as Indoor Ag-Con, the premier event covering the technology of growing crops in indoor systems using hydroponic, aeroponic and aquaponic techniques.
