ReposiTrak Expands Food Traceability Network With 40 New Suppliers

ReposiTrak (NYSE: TRAK) rapidly expands its food traceability network with 40 new specialty food suppliers, reinforcing its regulatory compliance and supply chain management leadership.

The companies are joining the ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN) before the FDA’s January 2026 deadline, ensuring compliance with food traceability regulations.

Growing Adoption of Food Traceability Solutions

The new suppliers represent a diverse range of specialty food categories. One supplier, a leader in refrigerated and frozen breakfast foods since 1948, continues to innovate in the category.

Another, a California-based company founded in 2010, focuses on plant-based beverages and is committed to sustainability. A third company, known for its gluten-free offerings, has been producing cauliflower-based pizzas and tortillas since 2016.

In an interview with Abasto at the 2025 NGA Show, Derek Hannum talks about how ReposiTrak helps companies comply with food traceability regulations.

These suppliers leverage ReposiTrak’s hardware-free and software-free traceability solution to seamlessly exchange FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) for each Critical Tracking Event (CTE) within their supply chains.

This integration supports compliance with the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Section 204(d).

Why Suppliers Are Choosing ReposiTrak

“While others are talking about traceability, ReposiTrak is doing it,” said Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak. “Suppliers are queuing to join the ReposiTrak Traceability Network because our hardware-free and software-free solution can take data in any format and deliver it to retailers according to that retailer’s unique requirements.”

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network enables suppliers to connect with unlimited trading partners and share traceability data for a low, flat fee. The platform simplifies compliance and operational efficiency by eliminating the need for additional hardware or software.
