El Super Opens its Fourth Supermarket in Las Vegas

El Super, a California-based chain of Hispanic-focused grocery stores, is expanding its reach by opening its fourth supermarket in Southeast Las Vegas.

On July 26th, the new store opened its doors at 2475 E. Tropicana Ave. Spanning over 43,000 square feet, the supermarket offers top-notch food products at the most affordable prices possible, said the Hispanic supermarket chain in a press release.

The store opens daily from 7 am to 11 pm, providing shoppers with a vast selection of grocery products from Latin America and household favorites.

El Super’s new supermarket has a variety of fresh baked goods, including pastries, bread, and tortillas, all made in-house. Also have a full-service meat and seafood department featuring the best cuts of meat, pork, poultry, fresh fish, shellfish, and specialty items.

Approximately 120 positions have been filled to staff the new store fully.

  • A standout Bakery features delicious pastries, specialty bread, and pan dulce with available customization for birthdays and special occasions.
  • A dedicated Tortillería serves fresh tortillas daily in convenient packaging.
  • A Seafood Department with an impressive assortment offers fresh fish, shellfish, and specialty items.
  • A full-service Meat Department features a wide selection of tender beef, pork, and chicken at value prices and expert butchers ready to assist customers in finding the perfect cut of meat.
  • A Deli Cheese counter stocked with salsas, handcrafted ceviches, aguachiles prepared fresh daily, and a wide selection of bulk and prepackaged meats, sausages, and cheeses.
  • The quick-service Pepe’s Kitchen, where customers can enjoy a variety of flavorful, familiar dishes, snacks, and treats made right in-store with ingredients sourced daily.

El Super hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26th to celebrate its opening. During the event, they donated $1,500 to Project 150, Las Vegas-based organization that provides support services to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students.

The company operates 64 stores in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas. El Super is part of Chedraui USA, a leading grocery retailer with 24,000 team members supporting 377 stores across three banners, including Smart & Final and Fiesta Mart.
