Cardenas Markets Joins in The Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

Cardenas Markets, one of the nation’s largest Hispanic grocery chains, announced that it has kicked off its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. From September 15 through October 15, the company will celebrate with its customers by hosting a variety of events, including online sweepstakes, authentic Hispanic food recipes, and highlighting influential Hispanic figures.

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, Cardenas Markets will host online sweepstakes where customers can sign up for a chance to win prizes, such as Weber Gas Grill and Cardenas Markets gift cards, among other great prizes. According to the Pew Research Center statistics, Latinos accounted for 39% of California’s population in 2020, among the highest shares in the country. Los Angeles County has the nation’s largest Hispanic population, a distinction it has held since the census first included a Hispanic category in 1980. Los Angeles County has more than 4.8 million Hispanics.
