Walmart Hours & Best Store Hours To Shop (COVID-19 Update)

Walmart’s hours have changed!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Walmart has been forced to update its hours of operations. In order to keep its associates safe and further give their associates the time they need to stock products and clean thoroughly, all Walmart stores and Neighborhood Markets are now opening at 7:00 am to 8:30 p.m. local time effective today until further notice.

The company is taking hours of operations very seriously.  They want to make sure everyone is able to do their work and be home on time.

NOTE:

  • Pharmacy associates are working to make sure everyone has the medicine they need. Most Walmart pharmacies are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
  • All times are local

If you are Walmart customer, hours have changed due to the current pandemic situation.

Walmart HOURS FOR AT RISK-CUSTOMERS

Additionally, our stores will host a senior shopping hour every Tuesday for customers age 60 and older who may be more vulnerable. This will start one hour before the store opens. So, every Tuesday seniors can go shop at Walmart at 6:00 am. The pharmacies and vision centers will also be open during this time.

For seniors and those at high-risk for COVID-19, Walmart has a variety of ways to serve you, including drive-thru, no-contact curbside pickup, and mail delivery. Call your pharmacy to see which options are available.

OTHER IMPORTANT HOUR CHANGES FOR Walmart SHOPPERS

  • Lost or broke your glasses? Run out of contacts? Walmart has updated its Vision Center hours to 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in most locations.
  • To support employees and focus on the most critical areas of the store, Walmart has temporarily shut down our Auto Care Centers to allow those associates to focus on stocking and cleaning in the rest of the store. 
  • Some stores may choose to suspend jewelry counter services, including ear piercing and jewelry repair.

BEST HOURS TO SHOP AT Walmart

The best hours to shop are during the morning time from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m for regular customers. For at-risk customers, the best hours are between 6:00 am 7:00 am on Tuesdays.
