Target’s hours have changed!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Targe has been forced to update its hours of operations. In order to keep its associates and customers safe, Target has taken a number of steps including updating its hours of operations. All Target stores are now opening at 8:00 am to 10:00 p.m. local time effective today until further notice.
As families continue to visit Target stores for the food, medicine, and essential supplies they need, they are committed to helping team members and guests stay safe and healthy.
NOTE:
- CVS pharmacies in Target stores also will be open Monday through Sunday. Most Target pharmacies will have the following hour schedule: Mon, Thursday & Friday (9:00 am to 8:00 pm) Tues & Wed (8:00 am to 7:00 pm) Sat & Sun (9:00 am to 6:00 pm). Check your local store Target pharmacy hours as the may vary by location.

While most Target stores across the country are opening at 8:00 pm and closing at 10 p.m. we encourage customers to use their Store Locator to find a store near you and the latest hours for that specific location.
Target HOURS FOR AT RISK-CUSTOMERS
Target has introduced dedicated shopping hours for at-risk customers guests, making the first-hour their stores 8:00 am to 9:00 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays reserved for those over 65 years old, pregnant women, and those defined by the CDC as vulnerable or at-risk.
If you shop at Target and do not meet these criteria, let’s be mindful of this initiative to keep the most vulnerable guest safe. So maybe on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can go in a little bit later.
During these hours, Target team members outside of the stores will be reminding customers to practice social distancing both inline and when entering the store.
Target PHARMACY OPTIONS FOR SENIORS
CVS pharmacies in Target also will be open for seniors one hour earlier on Tuesday & Wednesday so they can pick up their prescriptions, along with any food, essentials, and other items they might need.
OTHER IMPORTANT HOUR CHANGES FOR Target SHOPPERS
- Target’s Mobile Kiosk will be close on Tuesday and Wednesday but open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm the rest of the days.
- Target has a team member stationed at each store entrance to sanitize carts and baskets between each use.
- Frequently cleaning each check lane and providing hand sanitizer.
- Increasing cleaning and sanitizing routines at Starbucks and cafes in our stores.
- Limits on products like hand sanitizer, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, flushable wipes, hand & face wipes, gloves, and more.

Don’t like Target’s new shopping hours, simply download the Target app and choose from thousands of items, and simply select Drive Up at checkout.
They’ll let you know when your order is ready for pick up. Tell then when you’re on your way and park in the designated spot so they can load up your car with your stuff.
BEST HOURS TO SHOP AT Target
The best hours to shop are during the morning time from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m for regular customers. For at-risk customers, the best hours are between 8:00 am 9:00 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
