Dollar Tree Store hours have changed!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dollar Tree has been forced to update its hours of operations. In order to keep its associates safe, provide adequate time to exercise the Company’s proactive cleaning protocols, and replenish store shelves with essential products, all Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores are now opening at 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. local time effective today until further notice.
The company is taking hours of operations very seriously. They even offer a contact form to report if one of their stores closed earlier or opened later than they should have.

Dollar Tree store hours for at risk-customers
If you shop at Dollar Tree at opening hours but are not an at-risk customer, Dollar Tree is urging you to begin your shopping trips at least one hour after the stores open. So at around 10:00 am.
Why?
The grocery store, in an effort to help protect the most vulnerable population during this pandemic, is dedicating the stores’ first operational hours each day to at-risk customers, including senior citizens, individuals with pre-existing health conditions, and pregnant women.
Just be mindful of this when shopping at Dollar Tree!
OTHER IMPORTANT HOUR CHANGES FOR Dollar Tree Shoppers
- They have implemented an Associate Health Screening Program that includes a self-assessment process for Associates to monitor their health two hours before every shift, as well as a health questionnaire to be used upon arrival at work.
- They modified store hours to provide adequate time for Associates to clean and restock shelves
The company provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, which are available to all associates and their household members. These services provide many different types of support, are strictly confidential, and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
