Excitement for CONFITEXPO’s Return to Expo Guadalajara, August 3 to 6

CONFITEXPO, the 35th international exhibition for the confectionery industry, returns in person from August 3-6 at the Expo Guadalajara Exhibition Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico.

Since 1986, CONFITEXPO has been held every year and has earned the privilege of being considered the most prestigious confectionery industry platform in Latin America.

This trade fair brings together producers of sugar and cocoa (primary elements), manufacturers of sophisticated machinery and equipment, suppliers of raw materials such as flavorings, sweeteners, colors, etc., and manufacturers of the wide range of confectionery industry products.

CONFITEXPO is considered the sweetest meeting point in the Latin American world, where vital negotiations and commercial ties are strengthened between the foreign and national industries.

The confectionery industry integrates the manufacture of chocolate in its various displays, candies with soft, strong, and fruit flavors with salt or chili, and chewing gum in its multiple presentations. In this tradeshow are added the snacks, which not only appear as whimsical figures made with wheat and corn flour, dried or fried, accompanied with exquisite sauces with Mexican flavor, but with various alternatives, without forgetting the wide variety of seeds such as peanuts, beans, nuts and many more.

In addition to the confectionery products, you can find manufacturers of disposable items developed with new techniques that do not harm the environment and the endless world of costumes, balloons, piñatas, and the like.

Bringing together this whole world of market opportunities has made CONFITEXPO the obligatory annual meeting point where the qualified buyer has been able to find numerous alternatives.

Due to COVID-19, the trade show was not held last year. However, the organization kept its commitment to the exhibitors who had booked their space for 2020 during the 2019 fair. Thus, CONFITEXPO assured their presence for the trade show to be held in August 2021.

Convinced that the industry will continue its development, organizers, and exhibitors are ready to present themselves from August 3 to 6, supporting their demanding market that already wants to resume activities.

Also, in response to a group of exhibitors who asked for a virtual meeting in 2020, the organizers organized an online event with 40 companies that showcased their products. They held interviews, expanding their range of products and services.

According to CONFITEXPO, although several visits were recorded at the virtual event, no business transactions were finalized, demonstrating that the trade show is not the best candidate to be held virtually.

“This acclaimed exhibition is to be visited, since just the aroma that is given off and the good taste that the designers develop, accompanied by the exquisite tasting, creates a propitious state for human warmth to give the final touch to the commercial negotiations,” said the organization.

Convinced of the need for a physical reunion, the commercialization of spaces continues, and registration for buyers is open at www.CONFITEXPO.com.

This event is not open to the public and is not subject to any cost.

For its part, the Expo Guadalajara exhibition center is prepared to apply the biosecurity measures established by the government of Jalisco to protect the health and well-being of those attending the event.
